New guitar

New guitar

After I sold my stratocaster-lookalike last year, I have been playing solely on my Ibanez ArtCore. I missed the ease of playing of the stratocaster, so I decided to get myself a new one. This time I bought a real Fender and included a case so I can transport it safely. I really like the classic sunburst finish!

Delfshaven

Delfshaven

Last Saturday I visited Delfshaven, an old part of Rotterdam that was not bombed during WW2. A lot of people are not aware of the existence of these kinds of traditional Dutch canal houses in Rotterdam.

Budapest

Budapest

I participated in a business course of Deloitte Enterprise Risk Services in Budapest. I made some pictures during the couple of hours of free time in the fully packed program. During the business course, I also saw a traditional Hungarian horse show and participated in a Trabant rally.

Rio Dulce

Rio Dulce

The Rio Dulce is a river in eastern Guatemala with mangrove vegetation, a lot of birds and some inhabitants who live in houses like this. There are no roads connecting these houses, so these people have to travel by boat. Even the children go to school by boat.

Tikal

Tikal

Tikal is a beautiful mayan archeological site in the middle of a large national park. Besides ruins, interesting flora and fauna can be found there. See more pictures of Tikal.

Palenque view

Palenque view

Palenque is another great mayan archeological site with spectacular views because of the height differences.

More pictures of the Tulum archeological site at the Caribbean coast in Mexico. Although the Maya buildings are not as impressive as the other Maya sites I have visited, the surroundings and the blue color of the Caribbean more than make up for it.
